On July 15, 2023, all party members and active members of the Zhejiang Honor Biological Party Branch went to the Yongjia Red Thirteenth Army Education Base to carry out the July themed party day activity of “learning and applying new ideas, and making contributions to the new era”.

At the beginning of the event, a themed meeting was held on the conversion of Comrade Zhu Mingben as a probationary party member. According to the anonymous voting results of all members of the Honor Biology Party Branch, all votes were passed. Congratulations to Comrade Zhu Mingben on becoming an official party member.

On the scorching summer heat, the outdoor environment was scorching with heat waves. Under the leadership of Vice Secretary Luo Kun, all party members raised their right hands and solemnly reviewed their oath of joining the party.

Under the guidance of the base instructor, we came to the Red Thirteenth Army Monument to pay tribute and observe a moment of silence, engaging in “immersive” practical learning, and allowing Party history education to “enter the mind and heart”.

With a revered heart, we walked into the memorial hall, and the first thing that caught our eye was the statues of the seven main leaders and meritorious figures of the 13th Red Army.

Under the guidance of the instructors, we learned about the glorious deeds of revolutionary martyrs such as Hu Gongmian, Jin Guanzhen, and Chen Wenjie, and understood the background, establishment process, combat history, and anti encirclement and suppression struggle of the 13th Red Army. Everyone was moved by the revolutionary spirit of the older generation of revolutionaries who worked hard.

Remembering the past and remembering the heavy instructions of our ancestors; Facing the future, writing a new page for the continuation of the Party flag. After visiting the Red Thirteenth Army Memorial Hall, we launched a party member team building activity for Honor Company.

Firstly, we conducted a dry land curling competition, where all party members and active members of the company were divided into four groups to compete. As honorable people, gathering is like a fire, scattering is like a starry sky. Even if we are divided into different teams, we will continue to move forward courageously, just like the great revolutionary martyrs who forged ahead in the past.

Curling is a highly safe team sport that can fully cultivate the logical and analytical abilities of our party members, as well as foster teamwork and leadership. The stadium is unpredictable, and everyone needs to embrace and embrace change in every game, gradually leading and creating change, otherwise they will regret being eliminated.

Secondly, it is also a fun frisbee throwing competition in small groups. Through frisbee games, we can exercise our physical coordination, flexibility, and reaction abilities, as well as cultivate teamwork and communication skills among different groups.

The two new types of team building activities, dryland curling and frisbee, bring more freedom, openness, and motivation to all members of our party branch. And it enriches team building, bringing us fashionable sports, healthy lifestyles, and efficient work, further enhancing team collaboration, strategic consensus, and understanding and acceptance.

Red history is heavy and great. Along the long river of time, we have walked through it all the way. As party members, we remember history, but we must step forward and embrace a brilliant future. All members of the Party branch carried out activities such as fun check-in, creative photography, and creative videos in the scenic area, making this Party Day event more diverse and exciting.
